Women’s Gynecological and Sexual Health
At Pathway Foundation, we are dedicated to advancing health equity and supporting the well-being of women—particularly those from Black and other minority ethnic communities. Our focus on gynecological and sexual health aims to raise awareness, provide support, and empower women with the knowledge they need to take charge of their health.
Addressing Critical Health Needs
Women often experience gynecological conditions that can deeply affect their quality of life. These include:
-
Fibroids
-
Endometriosis
-
Adenosis
-
Irregular menstruation
-
Menstrual health challenges
-
Perimenopause and menopause
-
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Such conditions are not only common but are frequently underdiagnosed or misunderstood, especially among women in underserved communities.
In addition, sexual health remains a crucial aspect of overall well-being. Topics such as sexually transmitted infections (STIs), contraceptive options, and sexual dysfunction require culturally sensitive and accurate information to support healthy and informed choices.
